Permitting and construction oversight of a 100 slip marina within two man-made basins off of the Caloosahatchee River.
Positioned on the waterway that connects the Gulf of Mexico to the Atlantic Ocean, Port LaBelle Marina provides public mooring in freshwater to large vessels crossing the State of Florida. The fixed and floating dock systems accommodate 100 vessels up to 80’ in length. Construction of Port LaBelle Marina included the dredging of two man-made basins, steel sheet pile engineering and installation, rip-rap, fixed and floating dock construction and utilities for sewage and fueling facilities. Prior to construction, Turrell, Hall & Associates were tasked with permitting the facility with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Florida Department of Environmental Protection.
